Puppies Available for Other Organizations

Genesis Service Dogs is at work developing a line of world-class Labradoodle puppies. We are focusing our work on producing wonderful, healthy dogs that are low-allergen and low to non-shedding. Our mission is to serve other non-profit organizations who share our desire to assist people with disabilities.

Our relationships with other non-profit service dog organizations can incorporate any or all of three opportunities:

Puppies: Well bred, healthy puppies are available for your puppy raising program. While we are early in our development and can not ensure a low level of allergenicity at this time, our pups are bred from stock that has been raised as service dogs and selected for their health, temperament, trainability and ease of handling.

Young Adults: GSD raises dogs that are pre-selected for breeding consideration using common service dog puppy raising practices and volunteers. In some cases, we raise more pups than we need for our breeding community. Young adults that are not needed for breeding may be available from time to time for direct transfer to your training program. These dogs will come to you with solid house manners, extensive socialization, and basic obedience; all achieved using positive, humane methods of training.

Cooperative Breeding: On a select basis, GSD may enter into breeding arrangements that enhance the breeding communities of one or both organizations. This service is offered only to qualified non-profit service dog organizations.

To facilitate the success of our service dog puppies, our pups are whelped in the homes of GSD founders with a careful balance of relaxing childhood and positive early conditioning.  We use the renowned Super Dog program for early stimulation of puppies’ nervous, immune, endocrine and cardiovascular systems.

Our puppies are carefully handled from the day of their birth by GSD staff, and then gradually introduced to the widest array of people, pets, sensory experiences and locations we can safely provide. In every state of its early development, we seek to give the puppy enough stimulation to foster healthy development, but not so much that we overwhelm the puppy or diminish the confidence of softer pups.

Our breeders originate from AKC registered stock with strong histories of health certifications. All breeders clear OFA and CERF testing as part of our selection process.

Organizations that have unique needs for the temperament and whelping of puppies are encouraged to contact us.

If you are interested in one or more of our puppies, please send an email to paula@GenesisServiceDogs.com and we will be happy to explore the possibilities.
