If you’d like to raise a puppy but think you won’t always have time for the responsibility, consider being an approved Puppy-sitter. Puppy-sitters care for pups when their primary raisers are traveling or otherwise unable to do so, as well as dogs in transition from one home to the next. Puppy-sitters apply via the same process as puppy raisers, and must participate regularly in training meetings so that they know how to handle the puppies they have. Puppy-sitting is an excellent way to enjoy the puppy-raising experience and make a contribution to others when your schedule allows.
